Follow-up Measures for Cancellation of Graduation Ceremony in February 2020

In February 2020, the degree conferment ceremony was canceled as a countermeasure to prevent the spread of the new coronavirus infection.

■ Plan for gown  

-We do not distribute the gown to minimize the risk of infection due to the use of a common gown.

-We will distribute gown for graduates including those who graduated in February 2020 on the

  degree conferment day in August (2020.08.21. (Fri))

-The degree conferment ceremony will not be held in August 2020, but the photo zone will

  be set up so that any graduates can take pictures.

■ Plan for degree

-We plan to distribute degree after the slowdown of corona virus spread: Distribution date and site will be announced later

-Refer the issuance of Graduation Certificate Online: After 10:00, 2020.02.21. (Fri) at General support center (New students union building 1F)

■ Exemption of Distributing Gown and Degree Plan

- Eligibility: International students who cannot visit university in August 2020 due to reasons such as returning to their home country, studying abroad, or immigration.

- How to apply: Applying to each student’s department office

- Application date: 2020.02.07. (Fri) ~ 2.12. (Wed)

- Gown and degree distribution date: 2020.02.21. (Fri)

- Place of graduation and degree distribution: Office of each department

- The degree gown should be used only once, so it will be distributed to those only who apply.

It is regrettable as the ceremony is canceled but we do hope your understanding and cooperation.
