Notice for Successful candidates in 2015 Fall semester

Congratulations for your admission!

 

This is important information for you, please read it carefully.

 

Class information and Academic information for graduate school students will be noticed until around first week of August, 2015

 

1.   Visa documents

-    certificate of admission, certificate of scholarship, invitation letter, tuition bill

-    International students who live abroad : We will send them to you.

-    International students who live in Korea : You have to visit graduate school office and take the documents for changing or exchanging visa ( #305 Yulgok Hall, Please contact us before visiting our Office for checking required documents are prepared.)

 

  2. Registration

   You can also print out tuition bill on web site ( http://grad.ajou.ac.kr ) from July 20^th (Mon)

a. period : from August. 5^th (Wed), 2015 ~ August. 7^th (Fri), 2015

b. Payment Place : Standard Chartered Bank

 If you cannot pay tuition fee in that period above, your admission will be cancelled.

Someone who cannot pay in the period above because of living abroad, please contact me in advance July 31^th, 2015. (grad@ajou.ac.kr)

  3. Scholarship

Your scholarship information is on the tuition bill.

Only students who earned a minimum of 4 credits in the previous semester (including research (thesis) credits) and acquired over 3.5 of GPA for each semester without a grade of 'F' in every course can apply for the scholarship.

If you applied for leave of absence, your scholarship will be cancelled.

 

  4. Application for classes

a. Period : from Aug. 12^th(Wed) to Aug. 18^th(Tue), 2015

b. How to apply: application method will be noticed on graduate school website.(grad-e.ajou.ac.kr)

You can get information about classes from the coordinator in each department office.

 

  5. Commencement of Fall Semester 2015

      : Aug. 31^st (Mon), 2015.

 

  6. Student ID number

After registration period, the student ID number will be announced on website of Graduate school (http://grad-e.ajou.ac.kr) on around 1^st week of August, 2015.

 

  7. Student ID card.

You can get your student ID card around the end of August and for that you have to make a consent form of using private information of yours by online. And we will notice it again. (http://grad-e.ajou.ac.kr)

 

  8. Orientation for International students in 2015 Fall semester.

 

Session 1: Orientation for ALL New International Students (including graduate students) Date: 10:00am to 1pm, August 27th (Thu) Venue: Auditorium, Yulgok Hall

Session 2: Orientation for New Graduate Students (Excluding GSIS Students) Date: 2pm to 2:30 pm, August 27th (Thu) Venue: Rm 253, Yulgok Hall

  10. Dormitory

a. The application will be available online at Ajou website: http://edorm.ajou.ac.kr

b. The application period : July 27^th(Mon) ~ July 31^st(Fri), 2015

- You will need to input your Application No. and TR number to complete the application. Application Number and TR number will be noticed through the e-mail.

c. Notification of Room Assignment : Aug.7^th(Fri)

d. Dormitory opening period for Fall 2015 : Aug. 26^th(Wed)

e. Due date of Payment of the Dormitory Fee : Sep. 4^th(Fri)

      f. Health Check up(TB) result : Until Aug.20^th(Thu) at grad@ajou.ac.kr

- Before moving in the dorm residents should submit the result of the health check-up(TB) in English. The result must show normal or abnormal of TB in English. Without the result students cannot move in.
