Obligation for using Thesis Plagiarism prevention system(Turnitin system), Spring 2015

We, graduate school, have implemented Turnitin systems to avoid Thesis Plagiarism in advance for students who expected to apply for paper screening. It means that applicants who want to submit the thesis for degree in spring semester of 2015 have a duty to check the plagiarism of dissertation. So we notice you the information about checking for similarity of thesis for degree by Thesis Plagiarism prevention system (Turnitin System) as below.

1. Object : Obligation to check thesis plagiarism by using Turnitin System

2. Qualification: Students who expected to submit thesis for degree(Dissertation), Spring semester in 2015 

3. Application Procedure

: To apply for using Turnitin System, you must send an e-mail containing the details below to person in charge of Thesis from office of Graduate school through Ajou University own email-account.

- If you do not have Ajou University email account, You have to join Ajou University email account by Web-mail system.

- In case that you're using another email account like Naver, Daum Google, etc., it will be rejected automatically.

- Registration for Email Account of Ajou University : http://portal.ajou.ac.kr/public/portalLogin.jsp

4. How to Use the system

: Those who want to use this system(applicants for submitting thesis for degree in this semester) have to apply for using this system by sending an email to person of office of graduate school after writing down all of the details below.

- E-mail address of the person who in charge of thesis in office of graduate school : thesis@ajou.ac.kr

- Details to be mentioned : 1) Departemnt 2) Name 3) Student ID No. 4) Email address in Ajou 5) Purpose of use

- Office of graduate school will send you the email including Class ID, Password and Process of how to use the system.

- Based on Process of using the system, Sign up and Login on the Turnitin homepage.

- Click the Class named "Ajou University Graduate school" and Upload the dissertation to check similarity by clicking submission buttons for each purpose

- Confirming the reports of Similarity(%) and Orignality
